** Preparatory Primary is designed for beginner riders just learning to canter consistently. If a rider is cantering confidently, it is recommended they enter Preliminary Primary. 

*Note that for 2016 and onwards Preparatory points will be awarded towards The ISD or the VEIS Series for Individuals.  Placings on the day still apply and Team points will be accrued.


Age guidelines—NEW FOR 2017 (in line with EA Nationals) :


Primary competition  is restricted to athletes enrolled up to and including Year/Grade 6 in the year of competition.  


Intermediate division  is defined as those athletes enrolled in Years 7, 8 and 9  in the year of competition.


Senior division is defined as those athletes enrolled in Years 10, 11 and 12 in the year of competition.  


‘Schools’ include TAFE where a student under the age of 19 years is enrolled in full time study , but does not include part time TAFE, University or other technical colleges.

 

**All classes except for  Preparatory Primary count towards Qualifiers for the EA Nationals when competing at VEIS Qualifier events (not at VEIS Regional Events).  For full details on how to qualify  and the Compatability table see website—www.veis.com.au—Rules  page.


All sections will be split randomly if numbers exceed 35 in the class.


All tests will be on 60M by 20M arena unless stated otherwise on program or draw.
